Fear not, I am with you; be not dismayed; I am your God. I will strengthen you, and help you, and uphold you with my right hand of justice. (Isaiah 41:10)
You are never alone. God is always with you, and he never abandons you. He is beside you and in front of you. He is waiting in anticipation for you to call his name. Every morning that you wake up, begin your day in prayer. Give thanks for the day and acknowledge that you wish to listen to him and find him among the busyness of the world. Pray with all your heart that the Holy Spirit will guide you through the day.
God longs for a relationship with you; he wants to get to know you! You are his creation, and he cre- ated you out of love and in His own image. There is only one you in the whole world, and you are perfect in his eyes. He sees your flaws but loves you just the same. He knows every secret, every horrible thing you have thought, done, and said. Yet he loves you so much that he sent his only son to die for you.
He is always there; he never abandons you. Whenever you feel alone or lost, look at yourself and your own prayer life. Look back on how you live each day and the choices you made. Ask yourself if you have made God a consistent part of your day. Most likely, it is you that strayed from God and abandoned him. He is all that is good and has unconditional love. Believe and open your heart to him, and he will give you strength and hold you in the palm of his hand.
